Welcome to The Journey Playroom! Our mission is to create an environment that nurtures every child's journey through play as they grow. We have carefully designed this playroom to cover all forms of play essential for early childhood development, including kinesthetic, fine motor, and imaginative play, combining expert knowledge with heartfelt care. Our education based playroom is designed to inspire a love for learning, foster creativity, and create lasting memories. Join us at The Journey Playroom, where every child's unique journey through play is celebrated. We offer open play, educational classes, and private rentals for birthday parties, Mom's groups, baby showers, therapeutic play, and much more!

The Journey Playroom was founded by a Chicago native with over a decade of experience in early childhood and elementary education. She has her professional education license in early childhood and elementary education. In addition to teaching, Kate has directed an early childhood center, organized community programs in compliance with Chicago Public Schools, and brings a unique perspective gained as a foster parent. Additionally, Kate is currently enrolled in an EMBA program. The Journey Playroom is birthed from her expertise and passion for early childhood development, blending professional competence with personal dedication.
